Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified
Nurses Assistants give Twenty-four hour nursing care.
* Meals are prepared, served and bussed by Dietary Cooks and Aides who work
in two shift teams, serving delicious and nutritious meals three times a day.
* The Residents rooms, offices and common areas in the building are kept neat
and clean by our Housekeeping Aides. Working from early morning to mid-afternoon
they also provide laundry service for the facility and many residents.
* Keeping the building in good repair, the lawn and gardens manicured, the
parking lot free from snow and ice and the heating and air-conditioning running
smoothly are all the job of our Maintenance Department. Although their regular
hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., they always accommodate the needs of
the facility and are ready, willing and able to be on call when necessary.
* If you hear music, see dancing, are petting animals or playing games then
you have seen the work of our Activities department. The Activities Aides
are busy planning and preparing and participating in the many interesting
activities at The Tillers. Bingo, Bunco, Bowling and Horse Racing, banjos,
pianos, guitars, and instruments of all kinds, dogs, cats, snakes, birds,
fish, and even a baby lion cub, manicures, puzzles, motorcycles, tea time,
tableside chats, sing-a-longs and birthday parties are all daily events led
by our Activities Department. Working mostly during the daytime hours the
Activities Department is always on the go.
* Administrator, Assistant Administrator, Marketing, Advertising, Admissions
and Guest Relations, Human Resources and Employee Benefits, Pastoral Care
Services and Receptionists are all part of the Administrative staff of The
Tillers. While working in a friendly atmosphere with caring people, The Tillers'
Administrative staff is a family of dedicated, competent individuals who are
committed to serving the residents, families and employees.
