RN/LPN

Our caring and dedicated staff of nurses provides twenty-four hour care to our residents. They assess residents’ clinical conditions, administer medications and treatment plans. Must be licensed in Illinois or eligible to take the licensure exam. CPR required. We offer full, part-time, and Registry nursing positions.

CNA

Certified Nurses Aides provide the hands-on care for our residents on a daily basis. They are responsible for assisting with activities of daily living and providing some medical care. An enthusiasm for working with the elderly and a positive attitude help set our CNAs apart. A state certification is required. We offer full, part-time, and Registry positions.

ACTIVITIES

If you hear music, see dancing, are petting animals or playing games then you have seen the work of our Activities department. The Activities Aides are busy planning and preparing and participating in the many interesting activities at The Tillers. Bingo, Bunco, Bowling and Horse Racing, banjos, pianos, guitars, and instruments of all kinds, dogs, cats, birds, fish, manicures, puzzles, motorcycles, tea time, tableside chats, sing-a-longs and birthday parties are all daily events led by our Activities Department.

DIETARY

Meals are prepared, served and bussed by Dietary Cooks and Aides who work in two shift teams, serving delicious and nutritious meals three times a day.

HOUSEKEEPING

The Residents rooms, offices and common areas in the building are kept neat and clean by our Housekeeping Aides. they also provide laundry service for the facility and many residents. Our housekeepers do their work with style… and a smile!

MAINTENANCE

Keeping the building in good repair, the lawn and gardens manicured, the parking lot free from snow and ice and the heating and air-conditioning running smoothly are all the job of our Maintenance Department. They always accommodate the needs of the facility and are ready, willing and able to be on call when necessary.

ADMINISTRATION

Administrator, Assistant Administrator, Associate Administrator, Admissions, Human Resources and Employee Benefits, Social Services, Medical Records and Receptionists are all part of the Administrative staff of The Tillers. While working in a friendly atmosphere with caring people, The Tillers` Administrative staff is a family of dedicated, competent individuals who are committed to serving the residents, families and employees.

THERAPIST

Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists and therapy assistants are provided by Legacy Rehab LLC, a separately owned subsidiary of The Tillers that was created for the sole purpose of providing rehab services to The Tillers clients.
